A New Model in Oktober

Hi Visitor!

Two weeks in October I modelled another character for StandingSun. Its a dragon acording to the conceptional drawing and it should not look so fearfully as a dragon might should look like. But I'm happy that it looks pretty like the concept.

Zwei Wochen im Oktober brachte ich damit zu, eine weitere Figur für StandingSun zu modellieren. Es ist ein Drache lt. der Konzeptzeichnung und er sollte eben nicht so furchterregend aussehen, wie man sich vielleicht eine Drachen vorstellt. Aber ich bin soweit ganz zufrieden damit, da er so aussieht wie auf dem Konzept.

Meanwhile you're waiting for the final version of my animation you can have a look on some workk I did during this year.

Während ihr noch wartet, bis die Animation endlich fertig wird, möchte ich euch noch ein paar Arbeiten zeigen, die ich auch dieses Jahr erstellt habe.

It's almost finished!

Here you see a beta-version of 'Heart In A Tube'. The last scenes are not yet finished and I put some stills in. So visit in a two-weeks time and it will be finished - hopefully.

Hier seht ihr eine Beta-Version des Clips 'Herz hinter Glas'. Die letzten Szenen sind noch nicht fertig animiert und ich habe statt dessen ein paar Standbilder hinzugefügt. So schau einfach in zwei Wochen wieder vorbei, dann wird der Film fertig sein - hoffentlich!

Work In Progress: Heart In A Tube

Here's a little update of my project I'm working at the moment. I call it 'Heart In A Tube'. I won't tell you more but it's about relationship to God and one's heart and about the sight we have about our live.
It will be finished about the end of September.

Hier noch ein kleiner Update des Projektes an dem ich gerade arbeite. Ich nenne es 'Herz in der Röhre'. Ich möchte nicht mehr verraten, aber es geht um Beziehung zu Gott und meinem Herzen und darüber wie wir unser Leben sehen.
Es wird gegen Ende September fertig sein.

Find Me In The River

This clip was made in September 2006 as I and my family attended a DTS (discipleship school) with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in New Zealand. We had the task to do a devotion and this song by Amy Grant and Martie Smith had thoughed my heart and I some pictures had come to my spirit. So I tried to bring them into existence. I only had a two weeks time and my laptop as a 'rendering-machine' so not all pictures are animated. Enjoy!

Diesen Clip habe ich im September 2006 gemacht als ich und meine Familie an einer DTS (Jüngerschaftsschule) bei JmeM (Jugend mit einer Mission) in Neuseeland waren. Wir hatten die Aufgabe, eine Morgenandacht zu halten und dieses Lied von Amy Grant und Martie Smith hatte schon des längeren mein Herz berührt und ich hatte schon einige Bilder in meinem Geist. So versuchte ich, sie in Existenz zu bringen. Ich hatte nur zwei Wochen Zeit und nur meinen Laptop für das Rendering, daher sind nicht alle Bilder animiert. Aber trotzdem hoffe ich, dass es dich berührt.

More - The Journey To The Father's House

This is my second oldest prophetic-style animation. It's made with Poser and Vue at the end of 2005, finished in january 2006. It's about the journey of a child to the father's house. The 'house' turns out to be a palace.

I havent't updated my blog for a long time, so what happened in the mean-time:
I bought the animation-software messiahStudio and had a lot to learn. Then I worked on the characters I used to create for StandingSun and their project (http://dragon.standingsun.com/) and finally continued on my clip 'heart in a tube'. Till May I worked at home in our sleeping-room, but now I have a little office and that makes work easier. Nevertheless it's a lot of work to produce a scene of about 28 secondes. For 7 seconds I need one week.

Ich habe mein blog schon einige Zeit nicht mehr aktualisiert, so was ist also in der Zwischenzeit passiert: Ich habe mir die Animation-Software 'messiahStudio' gekauft und hatte da einiges zu lernen. Dann arbeitete ich weiter an den Figuren für 'StandingSun' und ihr Projekt ( http://dragon.standingsun.com/) und schließlich arbeite ich an meinem clip 'Herz in einer Röhre'. Seit Ende Mai habe ich sogar die Möglichkeit, eine kleines Büro mitzubenutzen, das erleichtert die Arbeit. Trotzdem braucht es seine Zeit, bis eine Szene fertig ist. Für ca. 7 sec brauche ich ungefähr eine Woche.
