More - The Journey To The Father's House

This is my second oldest prophetic-style animation. It's made with Poser and Vue at the end of 2005, finished in january 2006. It's about the journey of a child to the father's house. The 'house' turns out to be a palace.

Hello dear readers!
I havent't updated my blog for a long time, so what happened in the mean-time:
I bought the animation-software messiahStudio and had a lot to learn. Then I worked on the characters I used to create for StandingSun and their project (http://dragon.standingsun.com/) and finally continued on my clip 'heart in a tube'. Till May I worked at home in our sleeping-room, but now I have a little office and that makes work easier. Nevertheless it's a lot of work to produce a scene of about 28 secondes. For 7 seconds I need one week.

Ich habe mein blog schon einige Zeit nicht mehr aktualisiert, so was ist also in der Zwischenzeit passiert: Ich habe mir die Animation-Software 'messiahStudio' gekauft und hatte da einiges zu lernen. Dann arbeitete ich weiter an den Figuren für 'StandingSun' und ihr Projekt ( http://dragon.standingsun.com/) und schließlich arbeite ich an meinem clip 'Herz in einer Röhre'. Seit Ende Mai habe ich sogar die Möglichkeit, eine kleines Büro mitzubenutzen, das erleichtert die Arbeit. Trotzdem braucht es seine Zeit, bis eine Szene fertig ist. Für ca. 7 sec brauche ich ungefähr eine Woche.

Mighty Angel

Just a little test-render I made the other day. I would like to do a little clip on Michael W. Smith's dummers-intro on his album 'A New Halleluja'. When I hear the music I must think of a prayer-meeting of 4 men. And while they pray 4 angels appear - dangerous looking. It is obvious that the men are beset by daemons sorrounding them in the room. But the angels are holding up their wings to protect them . As the men pray a tear drops on a bible lying on the floor. Quite after that the angels open their mouth and begin to roar. And as they open their mouths light comes out and fills the room. The daemons are gone and the men realize their breakthrough in prayer. They laugh and hug eachother and hold up their hands in worship.
The up-holded hands changes to fume that comes from a bowle. The camery turns up and we see, that this bowle is standing before a throne. The prayers of the saints come up before the throne of God as a fragrancy. The 4 angels appear again, but now they bow down before the throne.

Here's one of them. I need to work on the hair - I know. But just to give you an idea...

What's the clip all about?

It's a story about a young man who is carrying his heart outside of his body in a kind of a glass-tube. And he also wears some kind of welding-glasses that constrict his sight. He lives in a hopeless and grey valley. He is searching for God and is recognizing some signs but doesn't really understand. He asks himself the question 'How is God?' but couldn't come to a conclusion. At the end of the song he he is totally frustrated and for the first time of long period he begins to cry. Finally he realizes that the question should be 'Who is God?" In that night God comes and takes his heart out of the tube into his body again. And on the next day the young man can see that the valley is green and not gray as he has seen it.

For me it's a paradigma how we realize God when our heart is not connected with Him. We try to understand Him with our mind or look for signs in our life and draw our conclusions. But we need to come into a relationship with Him and need to understand with the heart. And when we understand His love and grace just a little bit, we see the world with different eyes: Their is hope for the hopeless!

This is just my interpretation of the clip. I'm curious what your's will be.

Es ist die Geschichte eines jungen Mannes, der sein Herz ausserhalb seines Körpers in einer Art Glass-Röhre trägt. Ausserdem hat er so eine Art Schweisserbrille auf, die ihm beim Sehen behindert. Er wohnt in einem hoffnungslosen und grauen Tal. Er sucht irgendwie nach Gott und sieht auch Zeichen, versteht sie aber nicht. Er fragt sich selbst 'Wie ist Gott?', kommt aber zu keinem Schluss. Am Ende des Songs ist er total frustriert und zum erstenmal seit langem beginnt er zu weinen. Schließlich realiziert er, dass die Frage lauten muss: "Wer ist Gott?" Als er schläft kommt Gott und gibt das Herz wieder in den Körper des Mannes. Am Morgen sieht der junge Mann, dass das Tal eigentlich grün ist und nicht grau, so wie er es gesehen hatte.

Für mich ist es ein Paradigma dafür wie wir Gott erleben wenn unser Herz nicht mit ihm verbunden ist. Wir wollen Ihn mit unserem Kopf verstehen und schauen aus nach Zeichen in unserem Leben und ziehen unsere Schlüsse. Aber wir sollen in eine Beziehung mit Ihm kommen und mit dem Herzen verstehen. Und wenn wir so Seine Liebe und Gnade auch nur ein klein wenig verstehen, sehen wir die Welt mit anderen Augen: Es gibt Hoffnung dort wo keine mehr ist!
