Ari

Während ich an der Intro-Sequenz mit der Stadt und dem Schloss arbeite, habe ich eine Skizze von ‘Ari’ erstellt. Er ist der Führer der Einwohner von ‚Tiefenborn‘. Dieses Land ist sehr trocken und heiß, vergleichbar mit einer Steinwüste. Aber es hat viele Bodenspalten und ein weit verbreitetes Höhlensystem, in dem dieses Volk wohnt. Sie sind für ihre Güte bekannt, obwohl sie ein hartes Leben führen. In ihren Höhlen sammeln sie ihr wertvolles Wasser und bewachen den ersten Edelstein, die die vier Freunde suchen sollen. Da sie nicht viel Sonnenlicht sehen sind ihre Augen eher groß und ihr Geruchs- und Hörsinn sind gut ausgebildet – daher auch die große Nase und die großen Ohren.
Die Höhlen sind nicht vollkommen dunkel, denn fluoreszierende Pilze und Glühwürmchen erzeugen etwas Licht. Eine Skizze davon zeigte mein letztes Bild.

Meanwhile I’m working on the intro-movie with the city and the castle I tried to make a sketch of ‘Ari’. He’s the leader of the inhabitants of the province of ‘Deepenfont’. This land is very dry and hot, comparable to a stone-desert. But it has many cracks and a widely spread cave-system where this people live. They are known for their gentleness, although they have a hard live. In their caves they collect their precious water and guard the first gemstone the four friends should search. Because they don’t see so much daylight they have big eyes and their smelling- and hearing-senses are well developed - therefore the big nose and ears.
The caves are not absolutely dark, because illuminating mushrooms and glow-worms produce some light. A sketch for one of these caves you saw on the last picture.
